The Lookout by Gardener’s Cottage – spectacular dining with a view
I was lucky to get sight of one of Edinburgh’s most anticipated restaurant openings last night, the Lookout by Gardener’s Cottage. The first ever restaurant on Calton Hill, with breath-taking views across the Firth of Forth and the city skyline, it opened on Saturday and its spectacular; although my pictures won’t do the views justice, with too much reflection of people in the glass windows.
With time a precious commodity, weekends are special and the perfect time to catch up with friends but with everyone leading such busy lives, it can sometimes be a challenge. Perhaps it’s time to take stock and make time for special people in our lives and share those good times…
