The king of golden syrup puddings?

Golden by name and golden by colour...

Golden by name and golden by colour...

I had a golden syrup pudding from Burtree Puddings the other day. It was too good. The pack I’d bought – 360gr – was for three greedy servings or four normal ones. After a light dinner of soba noodles with garlic I found it made four servings. Four servings shared between two people.

This is the pudding of puddings (and won a gold star award from Great Taste in 2009): buttery, syrupy, light yet dense. Sweet and delicious. I’ve tried Burtree Pudding’s ginger and sticky toffee puddings before and they were excellent too.

You can find Burtree Puddings in all kinds of shops: I got mine in Earthy where they were doing a pudding tasting. For a list of stockists, go to the Burtree website.
