I kicked off World Whisky Day early with breakfast on Calton Hill on Friday morning. Hosted by Glengoyne, it was odd to be drinking whisky at 8 am whilst admiring the view.
We had a fabulous breakfast cooked by Tom Lewis of Monachyle Mhor served in his pop up restaurant (one day only sadly). Glengoyne had brought a whisky cask with 18 year old whisky for us to try and go home with – what a treat!
