The Scottish Street Food Awards took place over three days at The Pitt. We visited on the Sunday, a bright and sunny day perfect for al fresco greed.
We ate: hake tostadas from Umami Spice Girl, veggie haggis bun from Ròst, fish taco from Shrimpwreck, pulled jackfruit banh mi from Chompsky and tonka bean and praline crème brûlée from The Crema Caravan. Around us people had burgers from the winners, The Buffalo Truck, toasties from The Cheesy Toast Shack, while sipping on beers or cocktails
It was busy, buzzy and a glorious jumble of dogs, toddlers, grandparents and everyone in between.
