Ahead of the Assembly Edinburgh Food Festival, which runs until Sunday 30th July in George Square Gardens, Kerry and Nicki got a taste of what’s on offer at their launch party.
Bringing some of Scotland’s finest artisan food and drink producers to George Square Gardens, the festival is set to whet appetites for the upcoming Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Let’s just hope the weather is kind.
Stallholders have been specially selected to show the variety and quality of Scotland’s food scene. Also getting taste buds tingling are a series of foodie talks and demos taking place in the Piccolo Tent. From whisky to gin, savoury ice-cream to edible insects, and foraging fun to Slow Food adventures for kids, they’ve got it covered.
