There’s always a first for everyone and tonight it was Kerry experiencing her first supper club courtesy of Toasted Radish at the Century General Store, in the fine company of Edinburgh’s Social Bitches.

Operating on the ethos of sourcing the very best ingredients within thirty miles of their location, the menu was kept secret until we arrived but we weren’t disappointed, we loved every mouthful of it.

We opted for the ‘with wine pairing option’ but may have bought our own bottle of Picpoul too. After all, it would have been a tragedy to have gone thirsty and the Social Bitches do like a drink!

And in case you missed out, they have another supper club popping up during the Fringe on 12 August at the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre in Edinburgh’s West End. Set in an amazing building overlooking St Mary’s Cathedral, expect a meal worthy of a crime fiction heavyweight.

Keep an eye out on our main blog for Kerry’s review, which will be up on 4 August.
