Choose Daffy’s on the Terrace for a calm gin-sipping spot. This great wee Fringe pop-up provides a boozy hideaway, just a stone’s throw from the action of the Royal Mile.
Situated at the back of the hotel, the terrace offers more than a little respite from the madd(en)ing crowd. Just head inside the hotel and take the stairs on the right of the foyer. Don’t worry if the weather is moody either; there are a number of big umbrellas on the terrace.
Choose from a carefully curated selection of 5 cocktails at £9 each, covering sweet and bitter, classic and creative, long and short. All are made with Daffy’s lovely Scottish single batch gin, distilled with Lebanese-inspired botanicals.
The D&T is a simple, easy drinking must-have, served long for a refreshing tipple. The Monaco Sunset mixes Daffy’s gin with Campari and dessert wine – something for Negroni fans. The Secret Manuscript, a tall pink concoction flavoured with lemon, chartreuse and strawberry balsamic, is an excellent choice for fans of fruity cocktails or those with a sweeter tooth.
