Kerry joined bloggers and other regulars at Navadhanya for a winter tasting and menu preview.

If you don’t hang out this end of town (and I don’t), you may not have noticed Navadhanya, especially as its entrance is somewhat concealed just now due to Scottish Water works happening outside.

Don’t let this put you off though, Navadhanya offer an authentic taste of India with a modern twist, with all their dishes created from scratch, right down to roasting and grinding of each spice by hand.  The staff are really welcoming and their food is in a different league from your average curry house.

We got to taste some of their favourite dishes, including malabari scallops with tomato coulis and mango salsa and their famous railway lamb curry, which was delicious, with its thick ‘gravy’.
