William Sitwell recently wrote a an article about what foodies don’t want for Christmas, so we thought we’d tell Santa what we would really like. What are you yearning for?
Dear Santa,
I’d love:
A day on the Craft Beer Kitchen at Stewart Brewing so I can choose my own recipe, brew my own beer and give it my own branding.
To spend a day on the butchery course lead by Rachel Hammond, learning to cure my own meat.
A monthly cheese box but they’re super expensive.
A mixed box of pastes and sauces for different cuisines + a recipe card so I can make my own Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Peruvian etc dishes.
To go to a party where Jones & Son make the food.
A few gins from Demi John, help me through Christmas day 😉
Amy
Dear Santa,
I’ve been a very good individual and would love to find some of the following hanging in my tree:
Edinburgh Foody Baking baking workshop (of course, I’ve done this one already 😉 )
A voucher for my favourite restaurant works too. (I *love* food and restaurant vouchers!)
There are places that do gin tastings, now I wouldn’t mind a ticket to one of them.
Oh. It’s all tickets and vouchers. Sorry.
Caroline
Dear Santa
I’ve tried my hardest to behave this year.
I’d love:
The Modernist Cuisine at Home book or perhaps the App would be more affordable and is apparently “fully featured”.
To have a butter making class with the Butter Viking
A dehydrator Digital Food Dehydrator to add texture to my dishes
A subscription to Fricote, Lucky Peach or Fou de Patisserie Magazine.
I promise to be extra good next year.
Danielle
